World Honey Tasting Tour
Like wine, honey has a terroir or “a taste of place.” The term is usually applied to wine, but terroir is every bit as applicable to honey! Honey is made by the nectar of plants that are influenced by the soil and climate in which they grow.
During our honey tasting event we will take a tour of honeys that we and our friends have collected during our travels from local beekeepers around the globe.
We will see, smell, and taste terroir at work as we explore each honey’s unique colour, aroma, and flavor profile.
